Shoes

I love a theme...


 Licorice shoes for the poetry party inspired by Shel Silverstein's If The World Was Crazy.  Thanks Julia for making these edible, ruby slippers.  
I created Mondrian shoes to complete my Halloween costume one year (2011).  I painted my skin in the same Mondrian style.

I painted these shoes with atmospheric perspective for the first week of school (in 2010) when I was introducing the new theme: Architecture.

Why blog?

I want to create a place where I can archive photos of projects from my classes and share ideas with other art teachers, parents of my students, and those who are searching for inspiration.
